Rose City Comic Con

This year at the Rose City Comic Con I decided to do some free sketches for people. Some were fun and some were real disasters. Here is my visual story.

This was my humble booth. No smoke machines nor women in g-strings. I didn't adapt to the trend of the industry.

The lady couldn't afford to see Wil Wheaton. She wanted a sketch of her with Mr. Wheaton. The husband interjected saying, " No,draw me with my wife." I said, "Too late, she said Wil Wheaton!"

A mom came to my booth and asked me if I'd draw something for her daughter. I asked the young lady what was her favorite character and she said "Wolverine." After pausing a few times trying to think of what to draw I asked sheepishly, "Do you want me to draw Wolverine killing someone?" She said, "yes please!" I was shocked but the girl's mom said, "Oh yeah, she loves that stuff."

The same mother wanted me to draw something for her 14 year old son who loves Deadpool, Wolverine, Punisher and other violent characters. This was my Deadpool.

he next day a young lady wanted me to draw them as their character. I don't know what she was dressed as.

A young boy loved The Flash. I've never drawing the character before.

This is the exact point where I started to disappoint kids. This was the Hulk. However this wasn't the Hulk a little boy wanted. Hopefully when he's 20 he'll appreciate the emo Hulk. Right now, it's just a mess of black :(

A young lady wanted Iron Man. I only knew of the one from the 70's and 80's. I have no clue what Iron Man looks like now other than from the movies and I can't draw that much detail in less than 5 minutes.

This... this was horrible. A teacher wanted me to do a cartoon of himself. I was in the middle of tearing down my booth. The joke is someone sound but I made so many spelling errors IN FRONT OF A TEACHER that I couldn't even sign my name on it. "LAIR" indeed!

That last one for the teacher is too funny. Sorry. But if nothing else he’ll use it as an example to convince his students to study harder. My spelling is SO bad that’s something I’d do. 😀
